During the past 30 years, Rick has led a wide range of projects related to various forms of development and associated infrastructure. While his main area of expertise is associated with the aquatic sciences, he routinely coordinates baseline ecological studies, assessments of significance and impact assessments. Rick has an established reputation with the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, the Ministry of Natural Resources and various conservation authorities and has appeared as an expert witness on various occasions before the Ontario Municipal Board and the Niagara Escarpment Commission. In the mining and pulp and paper sectors, Rick has completed Ecological Effects Monitoring projects in New Brunswick, Ontario and Nova Scotia. Back to Savanta Team
